Testimony: the only pill I needed!

I realize I have so many testimonies on a weekly basis that I need to start sharing at least once or twice a month. I will make an effort to do so we can all see God's power at work in our regular lives.

2 days ago, I felt a soreness in my throat, and I spoke God's word over it like I usually do. I took a cap full of my anointing oil, because I figured it was the best thing for me, it contained God's power, and was blazing hotter than anything I could steam up. When I woke up for church sunday, my throat was definitely sore, and inflamed, it was clear that the devil was looking for someone to give some upper respiratory infection to, but he had picked the wrong person because I wasnt even going to give it a name. Funny dude though cause didnt he realize it last week when my eyes were inflamed and burning, and it was like he was watching over my shoulder, and I laughed in the mirror proclaiming God's word, and still wouldnt give it a name!

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

The Message explains it even better
"And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels." (The Message)

I never spoke a word about it to anyone, I thought ok I believe today is communion Sunday so lets see what kind of infection can resist the Blood of the Lamb. I got to church late, and sure enough we had communion, I told God what I was expecting, before partaking in communion. After church the pain in my throat was there, but I kept speaking God's word. Monday's morning, I noticed now another part of my mouth too was also inflamed as well, I laughed because I knew victory was certain. Sure enough, by Monday night, its all gone, no more pain in my throat! Jehovah Raphe, the God that healeth us!

Reminder, any type of sickness (big or small) is of the devil (nope the Job example doesnt apply to everyone), never confess it, or speak those words out loud. I'm sure if I had gone around saying "My throats hurts!", "I have a sore throat", or ran to the pharmacy to pick up some lozenges or something, I would "proudly" have the ailment now, and be sipping tea and whatever concoction I can think of, and still be in pain.

As you take your daily vitamins capsule (if u do), or if u dont, still dont forget to take your daily Jehovah capsule.

"My child, pay attention to what I say.
Listen carefully to my words.
Don’t lose sight of them.
Let them penetrate deep into your heart,
for they bring life to those who find them,
and healing to their whole body." Prov 4:20-22 (NLT)

"Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases. " Psalm 103: 1-4 (NLT)

"He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed." Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)

"He sent His Word and healed them." Ps 107:20
Who was the Word? Jesus (John 1:1)
He sent Jesus to die on the Cross so you and I can be healed! Stop delighting in your sicknesses and trying to get sympathy from man, by running around proclaiming it to everyone in sight!

Always look to God first even if its something as simple as a cold or a headache or something as major as cancer or a stroke. Many times God becomes 2nd fiddle, we remember Him much later in the process, and even then we are filled with so much doubt and fear that we rob ourselves of our healing. I'd much rather stand upon His word from the get go, even if I have to go into surgery because I'll know confidently that even in the OR, He'll be the surgeon, the actual physician will just be a tool being used by God...what better satisfaction!

So I speak confidently the Bible confession put together by Charles Capps daily, "Every organ, every tissue in my body functions to the perfection to which God created it to function and I forbid any malfunction in my body in the name of Jesus!"

Proverbs 18:21
"Words kill, words give life;
they're either poison or fruit—you choose." (The Message)

The pregnant man's seeds!

The Pregnant Man-check your seeds!

A few months ago, there was talk of a pregnant man, which had everyone in surprise till we all found that he was truly born a she! Think about it though, a pregnant man, how much of an oxymoron is it, and we all laughed about it, like it can never be, unless he so happens to be carrying another person's seeds. The truth is there are so many pregnant men in our midst.

Pregnant with spawn,
deceit,
lies,
evils of this world.

Pregnant with greed,
malice,
selfish,
self-promoting motives.

In us, yes the right seed has been planted, and though our bellies look like they are about to burst, the gunk that is in it stinks, and an ugly sight awaits to bear its head. That is even if we are fortunate because many of us are better off dealing with stillbirths and miscarriages!
Many of us are walking around with our heads held high, eyes wide open, and a big smile,
caressing our bloated bellies with an entitlement mentality.

“Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds. As he scattered them across his field, some seeds fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate them. Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun, and since they didn’t have deep roots, they died. Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants. "
Matt 13:3-7

Right seed,
wrong soil.
God-given abilities,
now wasted toil.

Really think about it, if someone were to do a C-section of what is in your pregnant belly, what would appear? What have you done with the seeds that were planted in you? Do you even know what seeds have been implanted in you, or are you dealing with an illegitimate product, planted in you by the world's insanity. Are you carrying another man's seeds? Dont waste your months carrying what isnt yours and then spend time in unnecessary hard labor before you figure it all out.

Power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing.

“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”
Rev 4:11

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered— to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”
Rev 5:12

Power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing...these are the original seeds.

The blood of Christ had to be shed for the seals of life to be broken, the scroll to be read and then the seeds planted within us.

“You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth.”
Rev 5:9-10

Many of us have long been robbed unknowingly of the true intent of the seeds, the true genuine ones have been uprooted and counterfeit ones put in its place. Oblivious we continue grinning as we continue strutting as far away from our source of supply, we go off in search of conquest, for the world to see our disillusioned blessings that we think is from God and bow and worship us, bestowing us the praise, glory and honor that we feel with deserve. We carry on till that ill-fated day when our sideline worldly cheerleaders watch in dismay and we spread our legs to bring forth a smelly messed up junk. Then we crawl back to God and ask Him why He has forsaken us, and given us shame. Yet we forget that His word says:

"Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces."
Psalm 34: 5

Notice the part in bold "Look to Him", to Him, NOT to the world, NOT to ourselves, NOT to the glory that we want bestowed on us by our peers, but to HIM.

"If God doesn't build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn't guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It's useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don't you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?"
Psalm 127 :1-2 (The Message)

Examine the seeds planted within you, are they the ones God ordained, or have yours been replaced by the lion that lurks around to steal, kill and destroy. What kind of creation awaits in your delivery room??

"Some fell on good earth, and produced a harvest beyond his wildest dreams."
Matt 13:8 (The Message)
How would you like to have a harvest beyond your wildest dreams? To bring forth a beautiful creation made in the Image of God, filled with His love, radiating with His glory, enthroned in His power, illuminating in His light.

Power.
Power in the delivery,
The sight of the new born is
The start of ma's recovery knowing
That behold her new discovery.

Remain blessed!

PS
sorry for the hiatus, I've been growing and living out the life God has given me to His glory, climbing mountains, and proclaiming His name...trying to be the princess that He ordained me to be! I'll try and be more frequent with updates. Feel free to let me know if you have prayer requests, or would like to a Christian perspective on any issue.

Love is...

Love is you... everytime I hear this song by Chrisette Michelle (Love is yoO), I smile because thats the song in my heart. O Lord, love is YOU.
"God is love" 1 John 4: 8
"The greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:1
3
In order to give love, you have to find love, for you cannot give what you do not truly have.

As a child, I was very loving, trusting and giving, I remember giving a lady a gold necklace that my mom had given me to wear on my uncle's wedding day...hehe yeah, she stopped me, asked me what my name was, asked me who gave me such a gorgeous necklace, and I said my mommy did. She asked if she could have it, and I said yes...she took it off my neck and walked away. Moments later my mother was appalled and devastated as I told her about(with a smile on my face) "the auntie" who liked and "removed" my necklace.

I wasnt a typical child (people usually say children are selfish in nature), being a middle child, nothing was ever really truly mine anyway so that phrase "its mine" was never a part of my vocabulary. I always considered myself a relatively good person who loved sharing even when I didnt receive anything in return. It was when I found God that I realized that my love was really nothing, human love was flawed. Speaking of flawed human love my mom learned a lesson that day, in as much as you love your child, you dont give her your expensive gold necklace to wear!

O my people, to love like Christ! Sacrificial love! We will never be able to truly understand God and others until we truly understand His love. We will never be able to get to that position where He has exalted us, to enjoy His treasure house, to gain favor, and be in a place where we overcome the world, where faith makes sense.

Human love says "I love you with all my heart"
God's love says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son" John 3:16
Human love says I love you till you stop loving me.
God's love says I love you even when you dont love me (and fall into sin).
"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8: 3-38)

My sisters and brothers, I am sorry to say but human love will never get you far in this life, you will forever be disappointed in the exchange of human love, loved ones will fail you, you will love with everything, and might some days get a widow's mite, and some days even nothing at all. Divorces will happen, people will walk away from your love. You will love with expectation, you will expect to be loved in return. Understand that it is alright, a person not filled to the point of overflowing with the love of God will never be able to love you adequately. They will never be able to love you the way God loves you, to see you how God sees you.
1 peter 1:12 says that even the angels in heaven are in awe of God's love for us!!

Every thing God does for us as His children is because of His unfailing love for us (Ps 6:4).
Every time you step outside, take a look at the clouds above you, God's unfailing love is as vast as the heavens. (Ps 36:5)

"Perfect love casts out fear."--1 John 4:18

In order to be able to trust God, you have to able to love Him. If you love God, you will know that He will do what He has said He will do. You will know that He sees all, and will rescue you from the darkest nights because of His unfailing love for you. Simply put, you will not fear! The reason why many of us worry about unanswered prayers is largely because many of us do not understand God's love.

"My love for (you) is passionate and strong." Zech 1:14
We try to interpret God's love from our human perspective, the same way a man can claim to love a woman yet leave her stranded at the altar. We try to understand the supernatural in the natural, it never works!

My pastor recently said "Love is the father of faith. Operate in love and faith will work."
Galatians 5:6-"Only thing that availeth in Jesus Christ is faith which worketh by love."
Your faith will never grow the way it should grow until you find true love, God's love. If your faith doesnt grow, while others will be able to have faith in God to raise people from the dead, you will still be having enough faith to believe God for finding a $1 in your pocket.

So how do you find this type of love you may ask?
"The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit."--Romans 5:5
Ask God to make you more like Jesus Christ every day so that you will be able to love like He did. Ask for the Holy Spirit to dwell within you. This is part of my daily prayer , "for God to make me more like Christ, for God to create an opportunity for me to share His love and for God to show me His love today in the most amazing way". Every morning I cry out, and God answers in His own way.

2 Cor 5:5-7 "The world is dying to see the love of God"

O what a beauty it will be when Christians start walking in the love of God!

The love of God will transform your life, and everyone you come in contact with. Your spouse will find you more fulfilling, your children will grow in that special joy, your career will flourish as you make it a priority to deal with your clients with the love of God. I am not talking about human reward though, yes people might pay you back, but that is not it, God's reward is greater, the store house of heaven is without limit. The love of God in you will make you even more beautiful not just in the sight of man, but in God's eyes. He will smile upon you, bless you with His glory, and elevate you to your resting place.

I leave you with this prayer from Ephesians 3 "...Your roots will grown down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God."

The love of God is too great to fully understand, never try to rationalize or understand it, you never will. Just know it is, and always will be, it is only then that you can walk powerfully into the fullness of life and rest comfortably in His holy place, a place where prayers are answered before they are even spoken.

Remain blessed!

P.S.
My birthday is tomorrow, July 13...thank you God for life, for making me stronger, better, wiser...thank you God for your love that you allow me to share with others.

The powerful anointing

Today I felt the anointing of God in church...no sermon was preached, more than 3hrs of worship and praise...it was powerful, people were healed, prophecies were made, lives were restored, rivers of tears were created...maybe I'll be able to put it into words in my next post, but words wouldnt do it justice, I didnt want to leave...God is amazing, the things He did, His mysterious ways, how I ended up in that church. I just have to post this video of the current song on my page, its called "Alpha & Omega" by Israel and New Breed, its off their 2005 album called Alive in South Africa. This video is amazing, God came and swept everyone off their feet. You see when God comes, nothing else matters, pastors cant preach, the choir cant sing, all you can do is stare in awe... My Lord My God How great you are! Pause the song on the right menubar of this page, and watch the video, and enter the throne room of God.

How beautiful you are O Lord

Today I arose and joy filled my heart, starring out the window, I thought "wow simple beauty", and every where as I go today, I see his beauty in the simplest things, the bare trees post winter who are eager to bear fruit, the rays of the sun a taste of the warmer months ahead. These thoughts came to mind, and I wrote them below...

How beautiful you are O Lord, you created this world,
who made man with a breath unto clay.
How beautiful you are O Lord should be our cry
everyday at our reflection in the mirror.
How beautiful you are O Lord.
Simple words, profound praise,
The essence of beauty,
Beautiful you are in Holiness.

Listen to this song How Beautiful by Twila Paris

My prayer is that today you take time to reflect and remember how beautiful your Creator is, and how beautiful He has made you to be, as you listen to the song and pay attention to the lyrics.
Remain blessed!

The King's bride

Hilarious image I know, but seemingly appropriate :-)

The lady

From the start,
A new beginning,
A new being,

A new woman.

In the mirror ,

the glistening gown,

the glowing face,

exhilarating joy.

Even the rain acknowledged,

as it proceeded down her eyes.

Today was her day,

it was the appointed time,

the purification was over,

her renaissance had begun,

her groom was waiting.

The bride is preparing for her bridegroom, making sure her presence is perfect in every way, that her dress fits right, and her appearance seemingly flawless. She is a lady in waiting awaiting her chosen one. She sees herself through the eyes of the groom, she isnt perfect but His love perfects her, His overflowing abounding love fills every cell of her flesh, and her spirit shivers in excitement even just at the mention of His name.

She loves Him because He first loved her, and because He knows He is accountable to someone greater than Himself. She is ready to submit to Him all the days of her life because she knows that in Him, she will have complete rest, away from the hectic life that she finds herself in, filling her with peace that surpasses her human understanding. She is ready to sign away her name, and take up His, to leave all she knows and be joined together with Him as one flesh because she knows not fear, His perfect love has removed that, and she knows that He will always fight for Her, she will never have to do anything, but just love Him unconditionally.

She knows that He is willing to die for her, to lay down His life because He esteems her greater than Himself, enough to be marred and scarred on her behalf. He has proven Himself to her time and time again, each time she fell into the valley, while the daily sighting of the moon remained her only touch with the outside world, He would always find her, rescue her and offer her comfort, her only source of sanity in this cruel cruel world.

In Him, she discovered the meaning of complete restoration, of complete surrender, the true and real meaning of love. He taught her how to pray, and many nights when she knew not how,or even too tired to, He became her strength, kneeling beside her, with the cry that breaks open the doors of heaven, pleading for grace and mercy...Abba Father.

She must have been specially created for Him, without doubt his lost rib, purposed to fit in right and so well. She remembers how those strong yet tender hands wiped her tears away, and declared her to be fearfully and wonderfully made, a reflection of something more divine than she can ever understand. She still hears those whispers, those sweet declarations of love, when He knocked on her door and she answered, the proposal and her acceptance. She craves the good and hopeful future He has planned out for them, the prosperous times ahead, their new life together. It is truly a long time coming, but today is her appointed time, and it is her time to receive favor, to make her solemn vows to her King of Kings and Lord of Lords, her precious love Jesus.

The bride was a lady in waiting,
The bride is me,
The bride could be you...

"But at midnight there was a cry, 'Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him." (Matthew 25:6)

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, "For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep."No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love.

"I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, 'Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure'—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, 'Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb'" (Revelation 19:6-9).

The Picture frame

An enchanting masterpiece,
his signature design.

His own very creation,

the reason for his justification.

The artist marveled,

paintbrush flickering away.

Behold the formation,

the vision of the appointed day,

the start of liberation,

his longing for salvation.

He captured the images,

luminous in distinction,

soft kisses from the sun,

bright sparkle of the stars.

uttering radiance.

He stood proud,

eager for worldly acclaim,

eager for all to proclaim his name.

The appointed morning arrived,

when he put his queen on display,

it was the awaited"D-day",
the day for her crowning glory.
One by one
,
they passed her by,
one by one,

with loud whispers and sighs.

The hours ticking into the night,

an old lady not bearing the sight,

shouted "Whats a queen without her crown?"

her face plastered with a frown.

An astounding revelation.

The artisan in haste to make a name,
had neglected to seal his beauty with a frame.

Another random thought that came to mind while in search of self expression. You see that work of art was a beauty to be beheld all along. The owner had spent time preparing, and working on it, to him it was priceless. Yet something critical was missing, something needed to make it complete, that last touch of finesse.

Thats the problem that many of us make, God has blessed us with so much in all wisdom, skill and understanding, to do that which He has placed us on earth for, but we are too eager to proclaim our name, so we do it all in a haste. Forgetting to consult with the great Creator Himself, we forget to ask Him for the right frame, the special frame, the divine frame needed to enhance our life, and convey its true worth to the world around us. Then we get disappointed when things dont work out right, when people dont understand our ideas, when things dont happen the way we want them to.

What good is a masterpiece without a distinct picture frame?

What good is a queen without her crowning glory?

Joseph was a man who never forgot his frame, even as a slave, Potiphar made him "overseer over his house". (Gen 39: 2-6)

Daniel never forgot his frame, and sought the God who revealed mysteries when he had to interprete King Nebuchadnezzar's dream. This led to his promotion even though he started as a slave in a foreign land (Daniel 2, 4)

Ask God to give you your own special picture frame, so that others may see your priceless worth, and esteem you in the same manner Jesus did. Dont ever dishonor your queen and let her out without her ornament of grace, and crown of glory!! (Proverbs 4)
Ask for your frame, and your true beauty in Holiness will be revealed in all Heavenly glory.

The good life!

Lately I've been thinking about the so called pleasures that exist in this world. The things that cause folks to lose their souls, the so-called good life. I think this video by Destiny Praise titled , "His Will" says it all. Sometimes after getting a taste, we still are hungry and realize it was all a false pretense, and the gratification isnt worth the hype. I've been there and I'm sure you have as well, and no matter how much of the "good life" that you have, that void within your being will still long for something greater, better...

He called my name

He called my name,
I walked away.
He called again,

to no avail.

In pursuit of life,

I lost my soul.

In pursuit of might,
yet lacking control.
He watched me smirk,
and laugh all day.

He watched my light,
turn into a bleak new day.
The blood was spilled,

and wasted away.
The sacrifice neglected,
the ransom too great to pay.
Glory lost,
power gone,
changing hands,
darkness begun.
In the distance,
the whispers continue,
focus lost,
destiny now dust.

He calls your name too, stop for a min and listen...do you hear it? Your precious worth could be your greatest loss.

4:13am, unedited random thoughts I jotted down as led by the Spirit, as I attempt to grasp the fullness of my Savior's love and our lack of obedience as we try to take it and rough it on our own.

God's reward comes full circle!

Beauty in holiness...What an amazing God we serve!

6 days ago, I wrote an article about "losing" my earrings on the plane here
http://wisdom4dasoul.blogspot.com/2008/02/visitation-from-god.html

well today, I "found" them in the most unusual way, in a manner that only God can fully explain!!
I had just finished reading a short article on the power of the name of Jesus, and I thought maybe I can spend some time in meditation just saying the name of Jesus till I felt joy spring up in my soul (hoping that it'd happen before I ran out of breath :), well thank God I only had to say the precious name of Jesus a few times before I felt that powerful, immense joy. I jumped up excited, and realized that I was going to be late for my church's evening service I wanted to attend. I got my outfit ready and remembered my lost earrings and immediately felt an urge that just maybe they werent lost after all. The way it was placed on my heart, I knew it wasnt my doing, that God was trying to tell me something, so I smiled and proceeded to search for it.

Ok anyone that knows the contents of a woman's bag knows that its always an adventure: I pulled out everything: eye glasses case, makeup bag, notepad, Ipod...nothing. At that point, something told me "keep searching, its in there, put your fingers right in", immediately I did that, and my fingers caught hold of something, pulled it up...my "lost" earring!

I got excited, because there's no way it should have been there, my bag was under the seat infront of me on the plane. I had taken the earrings off, and placed on my lap, and it was only after we landed that I remembered and couldnt find it. Then I stopped, and realized what just happened, God was smiling at me!!

He wanted me to give that which was precious to me for a higher cause. In order for me to have been able to help that elderly woman, I had to have been able to give that up, for God to have been able to use me in the manner in which He did. All the while while I was on the plane searching to no avail, it allowed me to be at the right place, at the right time. It allowed me to be right ahead of the woman when she got out of the restroom. I then wondered just how different everything could have gone if I got mad or irritated about my lost earring. I would have walked out disappointed and angry, my heart out of touch with God, I wouldnt have been attentive, and

God wouldnt have been able to use me!

He wouldnt have been able to use me!

WOW!

Luke 21:18
Not a hair of your head will perish (NLT)
God really does look out for His own, He cares about every need of ours, both big and small., even down to losing a strand of hair.

2 Corinthians 4:17 summarizes it best
For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

My fellow sisters and brothers in Christ is there something you have lost lately, is there any problem you are going through? I am here to tell you God is real, and He is still talking to His own, and looking out for us all. Sometimes we might have to give up something that is of importance to us, something that holds significant value to us, but rest assured that there lies a greater reason that will unveil itself in due time. Remember God Almighty is the Good Creator, and nothing is impossible for Him.

I am thankful!
Thankful that I've found my earring!
Thankful for that elderly woman!
Thankful for the name of Jesus!
Thankful that I didnt miss out on being used by God!
Thankful that God's glory emanates from me, my heart, my life!

A visitation from God

Today while I was returning from a weekend trip out of town, something amazing happened. God is truly awesome, the way He connects events in our lives together, nothing ever happens by chance. I decided to take my earrings off in the plane, and placed them on my lap. Once we landed, I remembered and was slightly disappointed when I realized 1 was missing. I looked all over the floor, and even decided to stay longer on board to search, the earrings though nice werent expensive so after a few mins of searching, I gave up and left the plane, the last person to do so. As I walked out into the airport, I heard a lady say "hey hey hey", and I turn around, and see an elderly woman, as she proceeds to ask me how to get to luggage claim in this huge airport, I couldnt help but notice the Yoruba accent, and realize she was Nigerian. I tried to explain, but then told her to follow me as I was headed there, it was quite far and we had to take the train to get to the other end. She was speaking bits of pidgin English and Yoruba (most of which I didnt understand) and it would have been hard for anyone else to have understood her. I introduced myself as Nigerian, said my name and greeted her with "Ekaro ma", which made her feel at ease, and we chatted as we proceeded through the maze to luggage claim. It turns out that she has lived in the US with her children for a while, and was coming to visit a daughter who lived here. Once we got finally got to luggage claim, I helped her identify her luggage, and carry it, which was quite heavy, and then helped her take it outside where we found her daughter waiting. They both gave me hugs and said "God Bless you", and I smiled and said thanks, and went back inside to find a shuttle to my car. Their gratitude was nice to hear but knowing my reward lies in heaven gives me even greater satisfaction.

God works in mysterious ways, He had a reason for me losing my earring, it was a seed I had to sow to reap the reward which He provided for me in helping the elderly woman. He made me spend time searching for it, so that I could be delayed, and be at the right place at the right time, that gave the woman an opportunity to disembark early, go use the restroom and still meet me, for the woman to identify me as someone who might be able to help, and for me to not brush her off by giving directions that would have only confused her even more. While I was on the plane, I was reading one of my Kenneth Hagin books, and listening to some of my gospel songs, and God's presence felt overwhelming so much so that several times I almost broke down in tears. All of these events happened for a reason, He was the master mind behind it all, one of the songs I was listening to, "Speak to My Heart" by Donnie McClurkin was really moving me, and I kept whispering prayers within for God to just open my heart to hear from Him, and He did. Every day I ask God for supernatural encounters to enable me to bring glory to His name, to give Him a chance to make Him proud and to smile at me. Remember in Genesis 19 when the 2 men/angel came to visit Lot and were sent by God to rescue Him, He could have turned them away, and faced the damnation that faced the rest of Sodom.

Remember when God visited Isaiah in Isaiah 6:8 and asked
"Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?"
and Isaiah responded "Here am I! Send me."

Everyday God is looking for whom to send to do His will in the lives of His children, sometimes we get so concerned about God blessing us directly, that we miss out on the opportunity for Him to use us to bless others! God has anointed us with His seal and through us His fragrance is spread everywhere! (2 Cor 2:14)

I am so thankful
Thankful that I lost my earring
Thankful that God deemed me worthy to share His love
Thankful that my heart was open to Hear His voice
Thankful that His Spirit humbles me
Thankful for His everlasting love!

A good person or a growing Christian

A good person who goes to church or a growing Christian
what does it mean to be a good person?
what does it mean to be a growing Christian?
which category do you fall in?
Look at that person you are dating, your future partner, spouse, which one are they?
Are they the same, if not, what makes them different?

I'll be back later this week with my opinion on this, but would love to hear your opinions.

He got me going gooo goo gaaa gaaa

Happy New Yr
2008 =A new level
A new season
An eternal platform
I dont love God, I am madly IN love with Him. In love of just the magnitude of who He is, and His majestic presence. Nothing else matters anymore, He isnt just my greatest need, He is my ONLY need. In Him I have found life, meaning, peace and joy. All the while I am gazing in awe at His beauty, He still chooses to be my Jehovah Jireh, my Jehovah Nissi, El-Shaddhai...He is more than enough for me! Every day tears roll down my face as I give Him praise, and at His miraculous ways. My friend God is God no matter what you are going through, He is still God, ALL by Himself. He is God, He makes no mistakes, no coincidences, He sees your future, saw your past, and is your present.
2007 ended on a somewhat sad note for people I know, several deaths, significant life events that happen that remind us of our temporary existence here on earth. During these times its easy to forget who God is, and what we mean to Him...His children.
I love my earthly father, as a kid He was my hero, I mean I thought my dad was a giant till I got older, and realized he was just 6'1. Whenever he came back, we would run out, and no matter how tired or exhausted he was, he would carry us on his shoulders, or give us piggy back rides. We were too caught up in our excitement to even consider him, and he was too caught up in trying to be the source of our excitement that he never once yelled at us for jumping on him. Throughout my life, my father has always been there, and that always gave us comfort, we always knew that we would never roam the streets naked because he would strip himself first before seeing us hurt and put to shame. Now as an adult, even when I have a cold, it is a big concern to my father, and thats a delight to still see, a genuine concern to make everything 100% right. My dad doesnt love me for what I do for him, he loves me for simply being, for existing, and smiling every day.
When I see that, I think wow Daddy is human and is still able to do all this, how much more so GOD. I would crawl into a cave and cover myself up if I ever brought shame and disappointed my earthly father, how much more so GOD. My father provided for me, but there is only so much He can do, He cant give me air to breathe, He cant control the germs that are in the air or carry me on his shoulders forever, he cant fulfill ALL my hearts desires but GOD alone can.

Madly in love with you
you you you ALL you
GOD is madly in love with me, with you...
the thought of you hurting just breaks His heart
It is His will for you to smile and see the abundance that He has given you as Jehovah Jireh.
His will for you to claim the victory He fought hard and long for you as Jehovah Nissi
To clothe yourself in the garments of righteousness that only Jehovah Tsikhenu can give you
To let the peace from Jehovah Salom dwell in you so you do not worry about anything
The many names of God, He wants to be everything to you, to give you everything, to lift you on His shoulders, to give you piggy back rides of fun ALL day. What is it that you desire? wisdom? understanding? peace? wealth? life? soul mate? new car? debts paid? nothing that is important to you is insignificant in His eyes, only remember that He is GOD!

In 2007 I realized loving GOD wasnt enough, in 2008 I decided I have no other choice but to be Madly in love with Him. He is already taking me on a ride of my life, placing things in my path, letting me meet others who are so crazy about Him, letting me see the signs and wonders that Jesus performed manifesting itself as a reality in my life.

He'll give you the master key to life (the abundant LIFE) if you give Him the master key to your heart and fall madly in love with Him.
